The primitive Boat Launch and Day Use Areas greet campers
as they first enter the Park.

One of the many reasons this is Lewis Co.'s BEST C.G. FOR FAMILIES:
The Lake has a shallow offshore "bench" all along the northshore that makes swimming much safer for young swimmers, as the deeper water is about 50' offshore.

Campsites 37-42 are walk-down tent sites that rest right on the lakeshore.

Other campsites are arranged in two loops deeper into the forest
(but a close walk to the Lake).

Walupt Lake Trail No. 101 follows the northshore of Walupt Lake into the Goat Rocks Wilderness Area, and provides easy hike-in and boat-in camping for beginners. Keep in mind that a Wilderness Pass is required to camp overnight in this area.
