Soda Spring Forest Camp

The campsites are arranged in a single forested loop

Access to the historic Yakima-Cowlitz Indian Trail begins right from the campground.

There are at least four campgrounds in Washington that call themselves "Soda Spring(s)." This mineral spring is the largest and most colorful, with bright orange-red colors, a delightful cauldron and spout, and a long, flat mineral bed that drops into Summit Creek. The gurgling of the spring is so loud it can be heard from the trail entrance 60' away.
