Sites on the preferred North Loop, sites 3, 35 and 39. The two sites below are RV sites, T2 and T10, which accomodate big rigs at the expense of privacy.

Coldwater Lake was formed in the Mt. St. Helens blast of 1980. The Birth of a Lake Trail gives great access.

This valley was deep and green before the Mt. St. Helens blast filled it with hundeds of feet of silt and debri.
