As good as the facilities are, it is still nature that makes Rasar a great campground:
The trees seem to scream for attention:
But it's the Skagit River, with its 4000' of park shoreline, that wins the prize. It starts as a sandy-banked river...
... winds through thick vegetation...
... starts to pick up speed and intensity...
... and finally cuts through the mountains resembling the Straights of Gibralter:
