The Horse Staging Area has one designated campsite, and leads to many miles of horse and hiking trails:

Beaver Campground


A playground sits at the entrance, a feature not shared by Panther Creek or Paradise Creek




The Wind River passes by the campground, with no sites on the River itself



Government Mineral Springs

Govenment Mineral Springs Resort was built in 1918, but turned to the ground in 1935. The land attached still boasts many hiking trails viewing mineral creeks. The remodeled 2-story Guard Station is now available for rent.


 

 



The trails criss-cross this 6500-acre wilderness. Iron Mike is shown below right:
