Margaret McKenny Campground is well-known as a hiking trailhead:
The campground is divided into 3 Loops
Loop A is for tents and small RVs; it is closest to the road with some road noise:
The B Loop is strictly for horse campers. Some sites have small horse corals attached:
The C Loop surrounds a grassy loop, has best access to the trails, and has both the smallest and largest sites:
Campeverycountywa.com visits site C-9, the nicest campsite in the park:
The C Loop is the only loop with access to Waddel Creek:
Keep in mind the park has no potable water
Sunset finally insinuates itself on the campground to close a long summer day:
The trails are still the main attraction of the campground, for all campers. And when they
say no motorized vehicles on the trails... they mean it.
